Advertising platforms: Meta Platforms (Meta Pixel) and TikTok (TikTok Pixel), only if you accept advertising cookies. These tools let us measure ads and show NovelTalk to relevant audiences. Legal and safety recipients when required by law, or to protect rights, safety, and security.
A successor in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
These providers act under their own terms and data processing agreements, and may use your data as described in their privacy policies.

We are based in the United States, and our providers process data in the US and other countries. If you are in the EEA, UK, or Switzerland, transfers rely on safeguards such as the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (for certified recipients) or Standard Contractual Clauses.

Waitlist and email subscriber data: until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it, or for up to 24 months after our last interaction if you stop engaging.
Contact messages: up to 24 months.
Analytics data: up to 14 months.
Records we must keep by law (such as tax records) are retained for the legally required period.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data; to object to or restrict processing; to withdraw consent; and to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

The Site is not directed at anyone under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has given us information, contact privacy@thenoveltalk.com and we will delete it.
